TRUMP-PELOSI EXCHANGE AT SOTU

Speaker Pelosi must cease battling the duly elected president. She, and all Democrats, are doing all they can to remove President Trump so as to avoid losing their cultural revolution to transform America to a lesser nation, now a push to Socialism/Communism.  A 2nd look at the Trump-Pelosi interaction in the SOTU gives some reason to think that Trump's not shaking Pelosi's hand may have just been clumsiness and oversight. However, I will choose to believe it was deliberate. Inappropriate for sure in a statesman-like setting or a public display of public people. However, my early years as a bully-eliminator gives me impetus to be more critical of Pelosi than Trump. 1st she deliberately made her act very public knowing that media would be her promoter. 2nd, Pelosi gives every signal that she has no respect for the office of the presidency and, in fact, gives equal reason to view her as presuming to be equal to the president, or even hold supremacy over him. 3rd, Pelosi has gone so far to accuse the president of treason (vile, venal, totally unacceptable!!), 4th Pelosi has led a sham impeachment, even a scam, a coup d'état, against the president since before he was elected, 5th Pelosi showed disrespect for the guests, including a young girl who received a scholarship to a school of choice, not Pelosi's or Democrats' passion given their coddling of unions, 5th Pelosi, on the larger scale, has done nothing to elicit respect from the president or for any of us to whom she does not cater -- only minority voter blocs, not all Americans. Trump did better than we might have expected, in fact, quite well. Give him credit. Pelosi behaved like a petulant child, seek her resignation to be replaced by a person of honor and dignity -- a statesman/woman.

ETHANOL -- The worst mandate ever gets even worse

When politicians get control of science and the inept or dishonest scientists, nothing good comes of it. There are many examples -- global warming (aka climate change) is the most prominent. The ethanol mandate, although a part of the climate change mania, stands on its own as arguably the most ridiculous mandate of all time. President Jimmy Carter, who was influenced by a misguided college professor, can be charged with the mistake of promulgating the ethanol mandate.  Of course, Al Gore is the politician who played the global warming issue like a drum and has benefited financially from it. Use of ethanol in motor fuel is not a net positive either in costs or in impact on the environment.... enormous hype to the contrary notwithstanding.
