TRUMP, OBAMA, MISTAKES, HELSINKI AND MORE

This post is based on a Facebook conversation and is in response to comparison of Trump and Obama. Obama always gets a pass for his many mistakes and Trump gets only condemnation from media and others who control the narratives. Trump was, for sure,  clumsy and unimpressive in the Helsinki press conference. We simply do not know what the agenda was in the private meeting. So, the biased, malignant media will delight in assuming the worst and report it as fact. These media are as fervent in casting negatively on Trump as they were, and still are, in fawning over Obama while ignoring all of his many failures. He can speak well while saying nothing, a talent that Trump doesn't have. Sadly, it is now an American Condition that we value a person's presence more that his or her substance. Frankly, Obama did more damage in foreign relations than most know. Huge mistakes in Egypt, Libya, Iran, N. Korea, Russia, Syria and more define him, but media and other sycophants and acolytes will never admit it. We got results in the 2016 election that we desperately needed to stop the 8-decades long march to perdition, the destruction of all tenets of "traditional America" that made her a model for the world. Obama was/is the patron saint of that march. Trump may not have been the ideal person to stop that march, but he was elected. The effect on the nation must not be discounted or mistaken. We are in chaos now largely because of the disruption of the corrupt, decadent and inept government that has grown dangerously so in the last 8 years, starting with Obama/Holder's DOJ to the virtual abrogation of the Rule of Law as some of the worst had control, and frankly still have too much control through special counsel and holdovers. They epitomize corruption. It's not extreme to say that Obama could do no wrong with the media and those that control narratives and the messages and Trump can do no right. He could solve global warming, cure cancer, bring peace to Israel and Palestine and more and the media would condemn him. Yes, he incites their wrath, but they invite it. This condition must be cured, but how??

ETHANOL -- The worst mandate ever gets even worse

When politicians get control of science and the inept or dishonest scientists, nothing good comes of it. There are many examples -- global warming (aka climate change) is the most prominent. The ethanol mandate, although a part of the climate change mania, stands on its own as arguably the most ridiculous mandate of all time. President Jimmy Carter, who was influenced by a misguided college professor, can be charged with the mistake of promulgating the ethanol mandate.  Of course, Al Gore is the politician who played the global warming issue like a drum and has benefited financially from it. Use of ethanol in motor fuel is not a net positive either in costs or in impact on the environment.... enormous hype to the contrary notwithstanding.
