DEFINING "PROGRESSIVISM"

"Progressive" Democrats are defining themselves and exposing their cultural war that is now 8 decades old, but denied until recently.  In the past few years, I've written quite a bit about the cultural war to transform America to a lesser nation. I also predicted it could be more evident when the 2016 election forced them to fight to avoid loss of the transformation effort. The election interrupted their efforts. That is underway, obvious to any analytical thinker. And, then we have the ridiculous, inexplicable case of "Progressives" using racism to cover for Virginia Governor Ralph Northam's support for the radical efforts to pass a bill allowing abortion at birth, aka infanticide. "Progressivism" cuts a wide swath, and not a good one all too often.
New "Progressive" Democrats are defining their party daily. Apparently they haven't been advised to "play it cool" and not to be so open in defining themselves and their agenda. New Representative Omar attacked Jews as this person is denouncing God. I've wondered how today's American Jews can support Democrats today. "Progressives" elected some real misfits in the 2018 election. It is beyond comprehension that these misfits can represent the honest classical Liberal Democrats, but they do! All a part of the sub-cultural revolution that they refuse to admit is underway.

ETHANOL -- The worst mandate ever gets even worse

When politicians get control of science and the inept or dishonest scientists, nothing good comes of it. There are many examples -- global warming (aka climate change) is the most prominent. The ethanol mandate, although a part of the climate change mania, stands on its own as arguably the most ridiculous mandate of all time. President Jimmy Carter, who was influenced by a misguided college professor, can be charged with the mistake of promulgating the ethanol mandate.  Of course, Al Gore is the politician who played the global warming issue like a drum and has benefited financially from it. Use of ethanol in motor fuel is not a net positive either in costs or in impact on the environment.... enormous hype to the contrary notwithstanding. Ethanol does not have the positive effect on the environment as touted.
