HILLARY CLINTON KNOWS NO INDICTMENT COMING

Hillary Clinton's actions and her commentary regarding the FBI investigations suggest she is complacent with little concern for the outcome. It's not only her deflecting characterization of the investigation as a security review, which FBI Director James Comey has countered that it is a criminal investigation, it's her visible lack of concern and her matter-of-fact attitude when questioned by reporters and others. So, why is she so calm and complacent with no sign of worry or anxiety?

Could she already be assured by the Obama administration, the DOJ specifically, that there will be no indictment irrespective of FBI's findings and recommendations? I believe it is the likely scenario.

Alternatively as reported here earlier, it is highly likely that the administration's and the media's praise for Director Comey's “straight-up” honorable character is setting the public up for a finding of “nothing actionable” in Clinton's activities. Also, it must be considered plausible that the FBI is prepared to exonerate her without forcing the DOJ to do so.

Now, how about the Democrat National Committee and Democrats who control it? It's a stretch too far to believe that they have any expectation of an indictment of Clinton. It's likely they know that President Obama and the DOJ will “take care” of the situation. It's the Clinton way, never held accountable.

ETHANOL -- The worst mandate ever gets even worse

When politicians get control of science and the inept or dishonest scientists, nothing good comes of it. There are many examples -- global warming (aka climate change) is the most prominent. The ethanol mandate, although a part of the climate change mania, stands on its own as arguably the most ridiculous mandate of all time. President Jimmy Carter, who was influenced by a misguided college professor, can be charged with the mistake of promulgating the ethanol mandate.  Of course, Al Gore is the politician who played the global warming issue like a drum and has benefited financially from it. Use of ethanol in motor fuel is not a net positive either in costs or in impact on the environment.... enormous hype to the contrary notwithstanding.
