MUELLER HEARING -- MICHAEL WILSON'S THOUGHTS

Once again Michael Wilson's take on the Mueller hearing before the House Intelligence and Judiciary committees yesterday makes compelling reading for those who are serious thinkers and want truth. Sadly, and maddeningly, not everyone wants truth.
MICHAEL WILSON
“The crusade to overturn the 2016 presidential election, thwart the will of the American people, and to punish Donald Trump for his successful performance against the inept Hillary Clinton and her allies may end with neither a bang nor a whimper, but with a series of mumbles and stumbles from a man who had been given the status of a champion by Trump's enemies but who showed himself to be dozy and ill- prepared when he had a chance to perform for his team. Whatever Robert Mueller's deeds may have been in the Vietnam War, or decades ago in civilian government service, his performance showed that his armor was rusted so badly to render him no more effective than the Tin Woodman prior to Dorothy's arrival to apply oil. The battery in his light saber is nearly depleted. His performance before the House Judiciary and Intelligence Committees called into serious question not just whether he had authored the report that bears his name on the banner, but also whether he had even read the tome himself. This puts the apparently unregulated and unsupervised authorship in the pens of a group of rabidly biased Clintonistas, not the man who was presented as a paragon of probity and the champion of honest treatment and even handed usage.
Saul Alinsky says in "Rules for Radicals" that ridicule is one of the most effective weapons in the fight against the "haves." It is also a two-edged sword, which will slice and dice those who would overturn the elected government by any means possible, as well as the powers that be. Mueller's performance, even by the admission of many of the more perceptive anti-Trumpers, was a disaster that will open the door to a spate of memes and snide comments that will derail a movement eminently deserving of being derailed. Perhaps now the House of Representatives will stop wasting time and money on an attempted lynching and get on with their delegated tasks of dealing with the needs of the nation and its citizens.”
